Manually copying long articles, downloading images, and writing background context for your AI prompts is slow. The Ask Active Page (Get/Send Page Context) feature in AiNBar converts any active browser tab into structured AI inputs automatically, combining both visual and textual data.

By clicking the "Ask Active Page" button at the bottom of the sidebar, the extension immediately packages two key assets from your active tab:

• page-text.txt — A clean text dump of the entire webpage.
• page-screenshot.png — A visual snapshot of your active viewport.

Once you verify the packaged files, you have full routing flexibility. You can choose to send the context to a single active AI session (such as Gemini Flash, as shown in the demo) to keep your workspace focused, or broadcast it to multiple models at the exact same time using the "Send to All Active" command to compare parallel outputs.

After the context is loaded, you can ask any question about the webpage — whether you need to summarize a news article, extract technical data tables, or ask specific implementation questions about documentation. The text harvester extracts deeper DOM structure, including meta tags, schemas, and hidden elements that standard clipboard copying completely misses. This richer dataset gives models like ChatGPT, Claude, and Gemini a complete understanding of the page, leading to highly accurate, contextual responses.
